A Midsummer Night's Dream - Production Staff

  • Jessica Bobillot (Costume Design & Production)

Jessica Bobillot has designed and sewn clothing and costumes from an early age. She has a B.S.A. in painting and printmaking and a second B.S.A. in apparel design. Old-world tailoring techniques combined with a particular emphasis on sourcing and repurposing clothing and materials are two major themes in her work. In the last few years she has designed and produced original men's and women's wear fashion lines and worked on the production of several shows in Portland. In 2009, she designed and produced costumes for Becky's New Car at Artist Repertory Theater. Jessica has worked at the Portland Opera for several seasons, including being the assistant costume designer on Calisto and Trouble in Tahiti. She also designs for dance, film, and special events. Her dresses have been seen in Martha Stewart Weddings and have won awards at The Red Dress Benefit Gala. She's an adjunct faculty member in the apparel design at the Art Institute of Portland.

Most recently she has worked on Romance, Romance and Forbidden Broadway with the Broadway Rose Theatre Company; she has also worked with Profile Theatre, Lakewood, Nomadic Theatre Company, Mock's Crest, and Nebraska Repertory Theatre.

  • Lise Petrauskas (Costume Assistant)

  • Roughly Hewn (Music)

Roughly Hewn is a force to be reckoned with in Yamhill County. This group of talented multi-instrumentalists produces a unique, engaging kind of music: a fusion of Celtic Traditional with elements of jazz and rock. The driving rhythm section and aggressive strings compliments the lilting voices and flute.

The group initially formed in 1998 as a group of friends enjoying playing music together. Soon Roughly Hewn had a name and places to play, such as weddings, parties, coffeehouses and festivals. Their first album, the Grey Dawn, came out in 2004.

The current group consists of original members Sean Boyle (guitar and bass), Gordon Hall (violin, viola, bouzouki, mandolin),and Sally Mehler (flutes, whistles, and vocals), as well as Joia Otto (violin and viola), Joshua Toole (drums, harmonium, guitar, and vocals), and Todd Harris (drums). Every member contributes to the arrangements of the songs and instrumentals.

Daniel is the Artistic Director and co-founder of Willamette Shakespeare. Last year, he directed the inaugural production of As You Like It. He has performed in a number of productions including The Winter's TaleAll's Well That Ends Well and The Two Gentlemen of Verona.
